First weekend

Saturday promised clear skies and warm breeze making us want to explore the surrounding nature. After filling lunch, we packed our bags and headed out. The Asturian climate means that a pine tree, palm and a willow grow right next to each other. The green pastures are decorated by vibrant flowers, occasional swamps and farm animals. Brown horned cows, regal horses, fluffy sheeps, lovely donkeys, loud hens with yellow chickens, turkeys, ducks,…
And a lot of pigeons too. We might domesticate one to have a little letter deliverer buddy.
Since the hot gold orb remained in the airspace the next day as well, we planned a trip to Oviedo, an elegant and modern city with diverse architecture. We spent the whole afternoon walking through narrow streets, photographing interesting statues, visiting random (open) shops and getting slightly envious of the citizens who live in such a beautiful place.
