It's time...

If somebody asked us what we feared the most during our one month stay in Spain, we wouldn't answer lost baggage or missing the flight. We would answer time. It flows so fast it's scary. It takes your moments and turns them into memories. It changes the present into past in a blink of an eye.

Huevos Pintos, our first day in Pola, was just yesterday, then why are we packing?

People say the goodbye hurts when you spent your time well. We weren’t expecting to sympathize with this quote but…here we are.

We might not be leaving with the souvenirs we wanted, since our spanish friends can’t fit in our suitcases even though their height is convenient and we had to give up buying those juicy mangos from mercadona because they would most likely turn into purree,  we are leaving with a heart full of a wonderful remembrances. Those that will be stored in the special drawer you open when you’re feeling down and want to cheer up a little. Indelible stories we will tell our children and grandchildren. 

Everyone should try erasmus or traveling on their own at least once in their lives, because no matter what they will be always rewarded. 

Maybe not with a tangible present, but the one way more precious, intangible. 

We are taking home a diamond with higher value than any expensive jewel in the world.

Although we don’t really know how to face the reality and our everyday life back in Czech Republic, we know one thing: we will be coming back. Soon.
